The Adventures of a Pharmacist in a Self-Learning Journey
About Me
Hi everyone, I'm Soon Seng. I am a practicing pharmacist who believes that my writing can help simplify academic books, clinical guidelines, and research papers, making learning much easier for future and newly graduated pharmacists.
I understand that navigating this path independently can be challenging, which is why I want to share these insights with you.
Pharmacy
Honestly, this initiative is driven purely by my passion. I am not here to sell supplements or push specific personal agendas; these notes are simply a refined distillation of what I have learned in my pharmacy career.
Because the medical field is constantly evolving, the long-term sustainability of this project - specifically maintaining a vast range of topics - is a challenge. For this reason, I will only be updating existing topics when significant clinical developments come to my attention.
Furthermore, as a frontline “ground staff” pharmacist, I consider myself a jack of all trades but a master of none, so please take my advice as a helpful guide, rather than absolute law!
Beyond Pharmacy
Over the years, my writing has broadened to encompass other personal interests, including technology, photography, book summaries, and personal reflections.
Exploring self-improvement through various books has been an incredibly rewarding journey for me, and I believe it will be equally beneficial for you.
Personal Views
While the future is unpredictable, there are certain “heartbeats” in the news that catch my attention and prompt me to share my thoughts. These are not validated expert analyses, but rather a reflection of my personal observations as I navigate the messiness of the world.
They may diverge from the deeply structured, concrete pieces I have spent years building; however, I view them as an essential part of my personal growth. True growth is found not just in cataloging facts, but in developing the courage to share my voice as life unfolds.
随笔飘逸
Though I write in English, Chinese is my native language - it is where my roots lie and my core beliefs are grounded. It connects me to my emotional side, allowing me to express myself with complete freedom.
Amazon eBooks
Self-publishing has always been a dream of mine, and I finally carved out some precious time to structure and plan the manuscript. However, it was only then that I realized finishing the writing was the “easy” 50%. The true challenge has just begun: the marketing required to connect this book with the readers who need it most.
If you have found value in my work, I would be truly grateful for your support.
Summary
I am incredibly excited to see where this journey takes me, both in terms of content creation and personal growth. I welcome constructive suggestions and highly encourage you to reach out to me - I am particularly interested in learning about the topics you face in practice and would like to see covered next.
